Toyota Tsusho Corporation
Established
in 1948 as a trading company within the Toyota Group, Toyota Tsusho
Corporation has progressively expanded its business operations and
strategically broadened its customer base as a comprehensive enterprise.
Toyota Tsusho offers its worldwide customers a full array of goods
and services through its many divisions covering such industries
as iron and steel, non-ferrous metals, machinery, vehicles, energy,
textile, general merchandise and chemicals, and insurance.
Through its
domestic and international subsidiaries and affiliates, the company
is diversifying into such new fields as telecommunications and the
retail market.
Toyota Tsusho's
head offices are in Nagoya and Tokyo and the company maintains an
additional 15 offices in Japan. Its international network encompasses
52 countries, including four branch offices and 42 subsidiaries.
The company also has equity interests in a number of overseas joint
ventures.

Toyota Tsusho America, Inc.
A wholly-owned subsidiary of Toyota Tsusho Corporation,
Toyota Tsusho America, Inc. was established in the U.S. in 1960.
Through their 18 office network, the company has emerged into a
multi-business research and marketing organization providing a wide
range of products and services including processing and procurement
of raw materials and finished goods, logistic control and crossdock
operations, warehousing and delivery. The company also provides
an array of vendor analyses, joint venture arrangements, and project
management for their many customers.
The company's
facility is located in Georgetown, Kentucky, and has a technologically-advanced
steel slitting line. TTA provides warehousing of steel coils, and
has their own in-house transportation systems that provides just-in-time
deliveries to Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky's adjacent automotive
manufacturing plant.
ARK
ARK is an industrial services company established in 1993 at the
Kentucky Toyota Motor Manufacturing facility. A 100%, wholly-owned
subsidiary of Toyota Tsusho America, Inc., ARK provides collection,
processing and sales for hazardous and non-hazardous industrial
waste and recyclable materials. The company recently expanded its
services to Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Indiana, Inc., and Toyota
Motor Manufacturing, West Virginia, Inc., and is currently diversifying
into additional fields such as steel pallet manufacturing and repairs,
industrial maintenance and transportation.
